Outdoor Recreation at the Glades

The Glades RV Resort is a spacious and private RV campground, golf course and freshwater marina. It is located directly on the Caloosahatchee River in South Central Florida's beautiful and scenic heartland.

The Glades is an active destination resort that has every amenity from boating, fishing, golf, a community garden, a busy social calendar of events, and a broad array of interesting activities including hiking the Florida National Scenic Trail, bird-watching, cycling, and plenty opportunities for photographing wildlife and abundant scenery. Another exciting feature of The Glades RV Resort is our on site restaurant, Crumb’s Riverfront Restaurant. Our restaurant provides outdoor seating with ample space and scenic views.

Our park is a great destination to engage in outdoor activities. Including six pickle ball courts, bean bag baseball, and a newly expanded swimming pool; as well as our campfire pit, shuffleboard courts, horseshoes, bocce, and coming soon a new golf cart drive in theater. Our park has a freshwater marina, boat ramp and fishing dock. Bring your boat and cruise up the scenic and tranquil Caloosahatchee River which will lead you to the second largest freshwater lake in the United States - Lake Okeechobee. On this journey you’ll pass ponds and oxbows that harbor some of the world’s best bass fishing.

The Glades Resort has the acreage that can accommodate horses, mini-donkeys, and other resident’s pets.  This is a part of “Old Florida” that you must experience firsthand. Surrounded by citrus groves, cattle ranches, wildlife preserves and waterways, you’ll be able to enjoy the diversity of this unique Florida setting.
